Anthony Trippe, Managing Director, Patinformatics, LLC has been appointed Adjunct Professor of Intellectual Property Management and Markets at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in their Masters of IP Management & Markets Program.
Mr. Trippe will be acting as subject matter expert, and professor for the online version of IPMM 508 – Patent Tools and Analytics. A new course offering in the Masters of IP Management & Markets Program.

The Technology Commercialization Office at IIT works with University researchers and their colleagues to find opportunities to move IIT innovations from the laboratory to industry. IIT has particular expertise in energy storage and management, medical device development, digital manufacturing, printing technology for manufacture of electronic components and chemical process technology.

Mr. Trippe is Managing Director of Patinformatics, LLC, a top advisory firm providing patent strategy, and analytics services to corporations, patent offices, and patent information vendors. Tony is an influential thought leader in the patent analysis space, has been named one of the Top 300 IP Strategists by IAM Magazine, and was tasked by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to author Guidelines for the Preparation of Patent Landscape Reports.
